Tanjung Karang trip (Experience & Exploration)

How does Tanjung Karang Look like, and which kind of people living there!?

First of all, I like to introduce myself, My name is Morteza, I'm 27, I'm studying in MMU and my major is Advertising Design,  which is this assignment is related to my Major.Ok, this assignment is about a short trip we had and the location was in Malaysia, and the name of that place is Tanjung Karang (Paddy Field, Fishing area, and Rural Malay)a trip we had, It was a best journey I ever had in Malaysia, and even made me so excited because I didn't think that One day I can see the village including the Rural people inside this Country, so It was so amazing to go there for the 1st time.this place surrounded by the Paddy field and the people living out there are villagers...Typically, rural people depend on agriculture for their livelihoods as farmers, nomadic herders, or fishermen; they deal with animal production, transformation and marketing of food and non-food agricultural products and services. Rural communities are diverse culturally, socially and economically.Their labor is cheap because gainful employment options are limited. Usually rural people lack access to adequate basic social services because they lack a political voice and rural areas have a low national priority.

(Insider Guide: What to do in Paddy Field)

They may not be the Major attraction in Tanjung Karang, but paddy fields are still one of the most calming experiences you can have under the sun. Many would argue that place is a paradise lost but the thing is, that place still have the spirit inside and the people who working on that field, still love that place and protect it with all their heart. In Tanjung now offers as many experiences as the varying hues of green found in a plot of terraced rice paddy.

It was an amazing trip. Another great day for photography. I discovered many wonderful Activities along the way like fishing side including the nice view of fishing area, with the people who were busy with fishing in that moment, it was a great situation I had, because I had a chance to communicate with the people living out there and asking many questions about that place...

They have a a unique system of rice cultivation in their land, but the point is a lack of Industrial Machinery. if they can have these machine so their crops can be grown well and Today these paddy fields are under serious anthropocentric threat which appears remarkably similar to other wetland ecosystem across the country. If these fertile areas are utilized properly for paddy cultivation, the problem of rice shortage of the state can be solved to certain extend. although, with this disadvantage the people out there are the most hard worker and never be tire of what they are doing and they are spending their time to protect the lands....

Tanjung Karang- How to making the Kites

Kites are one of the happy pleasures of childhood. In many countries and in the book of history we see that kites have been enjoyed, studied and used by adults also. Kites have been around for centuries. They are more than toys. Scientists have used kites to study, to invent, to explore, to work, to capture and to probe the unknown.
One of the most satisfaction in Tanjung is making a Kite, I mean how to learn it first and then how to play with it into the air. Therefore, it will provoke of our childhood memory....

In that day, I learnt from the man how to making a kite for my own, of course he taught me well and how to making a strong kites, like a first kite was made, and that kite didn't have power, so heavier-than-air flying device held to the earth by a line. The kite flies because wind resistance causes the air pressure under the kite to be greater than the air pressure above the kite, making the kite rise. The word kite is derived from the name of a type of bird belonging to the hawk family which is know for its graceful, soaring flight.

Here are some steps to making a kite:

1. Get a piece of paper (any color), and cut a diamond shape from it
2. To cut a diamond shape on the paper (if you are not taping four sheets together), cut the 4 corners off. It should be in the shape of a square. the paper horizontally.
3. Tie the two sticks or pipe cleaners together. Make it as tight as possible.
4. Pierce 2 holes in the diamond-shaped paper. On the inside corner where the two sticks cross, thread a thick string.
5. Using the other end of the thick string, do the same. Then tie the string when both of the ends of the string are threaded through.
6. Tie a long and strong string onto the sticks or pipe cleaners to form the tail.
7. Color the kite if you want.

and then Find a breeze or some light wind, have someone to help you hold your kite as you wait for wind to come, after that you can Have fun flying your kite with your friend.

Here is some pictures I took from my friend when they made their own kite...

I recorded the video from the man who was making a kite
